My ministry partner and I approached a man and wife at our outreach and we found out they didn't speak English. Just then one of our primary translators walked up and offered help. It was perfect timing. This was my first time sharing with a translator, so I was a little nervous. So I shared my testimony quickly and told them how Jesus' Love changed my life. We talked a little more and we found out that their daughter is a Christian. So we continued to talk and I just continued to share with them. Then the man walked away for a moment and his wife asked me through the translator how I could I feel that Jesus loves me. So I told her that Jesus has always loved me, but it wasn't til I accepted His Love that I could feel it and allow it to change me. This was a really great question and I am glad I had an opportunity to talk with this couple. I know seeds were planted and hopefully their daughter will have greater opportunities to witness to them." ~Nathaniel, U.S.A.
"I went to talk to a lady who was sitting by herself. She didn't speak very good English so I got the translator to come over. We talked about Jesus. For 30 years she ahs thought about Him and tonight she made a decision to accept Jesus as her Savior. Tears came to her as she prayed. Praise God. Her name is Amy." ~Pam, U.S.A.
"We were at the Temple Street Church where we did our program for new immigrants from the mainland. Most were mothers with their children. We did our program and then Pastor Sam gave the message. Thirty-eight came forward to accept Jesus. Afterward we played with the children and talked with the mothers. It was really a wonderful time of fellowship. A teammate and I were talking with a 13 year old boy. He has been coming to that church because a member was giving him guitar lessons. He hadn't accepted Christ yet he promised he would keep coming. The seeds have been planted." ~Dean, U.S.A
